RESCUE CREW GOES TO WORK IN HELLAM TOWNSHIP
Fri, Feb 11th, 2011 1:14:00 pm -  Just before 10:00 Hrs, Rescue 7-9 and Truck 8-1 were dispatched to 5289 Twilight Lane in Hellam Township for a possible house on fire. Chief 41 arrived with a working fire. Engine 41-1 arrived followed by 21 and dropped 2000' of LDH up a steep lane. Due to the long steep lane it took crews longer to access the fire. Once the Rescue crew made it up the hill, Command 41 sent the crew to the roof for ventilation along with Chief 81. Once ventilation was complete, the interior crew had a knock on the fire and started the over-haul process. Crews remained on the scene for about 2 hrs.

Engine 741 covered East Donegal Township until the Rescue was placed in service.
